California Cocktails was founded at the intersection of science and art by Sava Boyadjiev, a first-generation American raised in a household where creativity was a way of life. His father, a contemporary glass artist, filled their home with vibrant expression, form, and color—shaping Sava’s early appreciation for artistry and design.

Sava earned a degree in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis and has built a career in the wine and beverage industry, gaining hands-on experience in a wide range of winemaking and cidermaking styles. That experience sparked a vision for something new: wine-based cocktails that are bold, flavor-forward, and crafted with quality ingredients.

California Cocktails is the result. Each can is a reflection of Sava’s scientific training and artistic heritage—combining precision, creativity, and a fresh perspective on tradition.
